Meryl Jones (they/them) is an interdisciplinary artist who makes films and sound-based art. Their work intermingles multiple self-expressions and playfully blurs the boundaries across narrative, experimental, and documentary. They like to be creatively nimble composing music, sound designing, shooting film, editing, and hand-drawing 2D animations for their projects. Their films have screened at festivals including Champs Elysees, Hamptons International, Oberhausen, Newfest, Nitehawk Shorts, Film Diary NYC and online for The New Yorker Magazine, No Budge, and Dizzy TV. They co-founded Sweet Potato Productions in 2020 with friend and collaborator Jane Stiles.
